The Salvage Project

Blog EntryFeb 19, '12 1:10 PM
for everyone
Ever wonder if you were put here on Earth for something?  Do you think it will be one great, defining moment or do you think it will be a continuous thing, like it would be lived in the course of your life?  I wonder what do those "greats" think; those heroes and saints and kings and statesmen, those philosophers and writers and artists and inventors, and all the others who made an impact in history... what do they feel about having their existence wrapped up with some great event or idea instead of fading in the anonymity of an ordinary life, well-lived perhaps, but unremarkable in the myopic, "grander scheme" sense?

What do you think you are called to?

I think some people are called to do great things, while most are to contend with doing small good things everyday :)

i wonder if all the people who eventually became great knew that they were being called to do so? Or do you think all those who were considered great now, knew and consciously chose to do great things? How would one know if their lot is to "do small good things everyday"?
